Invention to Venture 

This eight-week program, Invention to Venture, is especially designed for individuals or selected businesses interested in bringing innovative products and services to the marketplace. Individuals will navigate through 20 different business areas, such as intellectual property, business law, building a team as well as personal assessment and interpersonal relationship skills, This combination allows the individuals or companies to validate ideas or concepts while learning how to protect and commercialize product(s) or service(s).

Grid 407 offers regular meetings for individual Veterans or Veteran-owned businesses to explore opportunities, validate concepts, and connect with a network of like-minded Veteran entrepreneurs. These meetings offer individualized coaching and can range from one to two hours per session. During these meetings, Veterans can walk away with visual assessments of their business status, tasks to follow, and connections with local resources to fast track their position.

Market to Government Integration Academy

A four day program, the Market to Government Integration Academy is for selected Veteran-owned companies interested in conducting business with Federal, State, and Local governments. The program provides Veterans with the opportunity to explore governmental contracting, while learning to avoid costly errors and determine the demand for products and services with the sole purpose to accelerate business readiness before engaging with local resources, such as the Small Business Development Center Procurement Technical Assistance Center, Small Business Administration, and others.
